How to Win in the Mystery Case Files Ravenhearst Game

"Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst" takes players to Ravenhearst manor, a haunting home that many ghosts frequent. Like all other games in the "Mystery Case Files" series, "Ravenhearst" consists of many challenges involving mini games and complex puzzles. To solve these puzzles, players must piece together clues using their detective skills. If you are able to solve every puzzle in the game, you will free the ghost of Emma Ravenhearst.

Instructions

- 1
  Run the mouse cursor over all areas of a scene. The cursor becomes a magnifying glass when you hover over a hot spot in the game. When you click on these hot spots it activates a puzzle, reveals a clue or activates a hidden object.

  Make use of the hint system within the game. If used, it will light up one of the hidden objects for you to see. You can also drag one of the items to the hint button for a clue on how it's to be used in the game. The hints should be used sparingly, as you only get so many for each scene.

  Use the inventory items that you collect in other areas of the game to progress further. The game will prompt you by providing clues to let you know where to use the items.

  Look for the sparkling areas in each scene. These sparkles show where a hidden object scene is located. Click these areas to bring up the scene and read the clue sheet to know what to search for in the picture. At the end of the scene, the game will add a new item to your inventory that you will use later.
