How to Load Fable Mods on an OM Mac

Like the vast majority of popular computer role- playing games, "Fable" supports a large community of fans who mod the game. As these communities typically extend the marketable life of a game, video game companies typically encourage them and make installing mods easy. Unfortunately, the Macintosh OS makes installing mods in any game virtually impossible. To play game mods on your copy of "Fable" for Mac requires you to install Windows on your machine and playing a PC-based version of "Fable"

Instructions

Install Windows Using Bootcamp

  Open Boot Camp Assistant. Click the "Finder" icon in the lower, right side of your tool bar, then click the "Applications" tab in the column on the right side of the window that opens. In the "Applications" folder, open the file labeled "Utilities," then double-click "Boot Camp Assistant."

  Follow the on-screen prompts. Boot Camp Assistant will create a partition on your hard drive for you to install windows to, as well as allow you to dedicate as much memory as you'd like to the Windows partition.

  Put the Windows disk into the cd-drive and install windows by following the on-screen prompts.
Installing Your Mod

  Download the "Fable Explorer."

  Double click the "Fable Explorer" icon you downloaded and follow the on-screen prompts to install.

  Run "Fable Explorer" by double-clicking the icon.

  Click "File," then use the pop-up window to locate your "Fable" mod, then press "Open." Press the "Save" button, then close "Fable Explorer."

  Run "Fable." Your mod will be loaded for game play.
