Catch-all Cheat
Type "boolProp testingcheatsenabled true" into the cheat box to turn on the catch-all cheat. Once this cheat is active, it opens a lot of possibilities for the game. Click on each of the needs for each Sim to make them go full instantly. Hold down the "Shift" key while right-clicking on a Sim, and a menu with several options will appear that will alter things for that Sim only. Holding the "Shift" key while clicking the mailbox will alter things for the household based on which option you choose from the menu.
Terrain and House Cheats
There are several boolProp cheats that will aid you in constructing houses for your Sims and leveling the terrain surrounding the house. Typing in "boolProp constrainFloorElevation false" will allow you to change the elevation of the floor tiles; "boolProp snapObjectsToGrid true" will enable you to place objects outside the grid surrounding the house. Using "boolProp lotWater false" will remove all areas of water, such as ponds, from the lot. Typing the opposite "true" or "False" will turn the cheat off.
Neighborhood Cheats
There are a couple of cheats that change things for the entire neighborhood. Typing in "boolProp displayNeighborhoodWater false" removes all water sources from the neighborhood; "boolProp displayNeighborhoodFlora false" removes all trees, flowers, shrubs and other plant life from the neighborhood. These cheats work best for when you want a world devoid off all plant life or one that is similar to another planet.
Considerations
When using boolProp cheats in "The Sims 2," be careful not to leave them active for too long because they can affect game play in a negative way. To turn off active cheats, retype the cheat substituting "true" for "false" or vice versa when necessary. This style of cheats is known to cause games to freeze and the loss of saved games.
