How to Walk Slowly in World of Warcraft

"World of Warcraft" is a computer game designed for multiple players to join forces and explore the world. Some servers are designed for serious roleplay, meaning players frequently hang around large cities and walk instead of running everywhere. By default, players run whenever they move. The only way to walk more slowly in the game is to switch the speed trigger to "Walk" instead of "Run." This can be done with a single key.

     Press the forward slash ( / ) key. This will toggle the speed to walking.

     Press the "W," "A," "S" and "D" keys to slowly up forward, left, backward and right, respectively.

     Press the "Num Lock" key to toggle continuous walking. This lets you walk without holding down any keys and you can stop by pressing the "Num Lock" key again or pressing any of the keys from Step 2.
