How to Increase the Chance of Having Triplets on Sims 3 on PC

"The Sims 3" gives players the chance to create simulated people, or Sims, and control them as they look for a romantic partner and start a family. Just like real couples, Sims parents can occasionally find themselves having identical twins or triplets. This is a random event that the player cannot control, using cheat codes or otherwise. However, players can still perform a number of tasks to influence the pregnancy and increase the chance of having triplets.

Instructions

Before Pregnancy

  Earn 10,000 Lifetime Happiness Points with the Sim that you want to have triplets. Lifetime Happiness Points are earned whenever your Sim completes a Wish such as getting a promotion, making a new friend or doing the dishes.

  Enter the Lifetime Rewards menu for your Sim and purchase the "Fertility Treatment" Lifetime Reward for 10,000 Lifetime Happiness Points. This will increase the Sim's chance of having a multiple birth.

  Repeat these steps with the other Sim parent to maximize the potential for a multiple birth.
During Pregnancy

  Read books on pregnancy to increase your chances of having triplets. Pregnancy books can be purchased at the bookstore and read at home or at the local library. Having both parents read the book gives you a better chance.

  Click on your TV set and select the "KidZ Zone TV." Have the pregnant Sim watch this channel during her pregnancy.

  Click on any stereos in your Sim's house and change the music to the "Children's Music" station. The Sim mother should listen to children's music during the course of her pregnancy.
