How to Get to Stormwind City in World of Warcraft

In "World of Warcraft," Stormwind serves as the central economic and travel hub for the Alliance. The only Alliance ship to the Borean Tundra leaves from Stormwind Harbor. The Earthen Ring Circle, just outside of town, offers portals to the new zones added by the Cataclysm expansion. The Cataclysm expansion also provides additional flight paths between major cities. With so many travel options available, even low-level Alliance characters can easily reach Stormwind City.

1. From Darnassus

   • 1

     Enter the portal to Rut'Theran VIllage on the east side of Darnassus.

   • 2

     Board the boat to Stormwind.

   • 3

     Disembark at the next stop.

   From Ironforge

   • 4

     Enter the Deeprun Tram station in Tinkertown, the gnome district of Ironforge.

   • 5

     Board the Deeprun Tram.

   • 6

     Disembark at the next stop. The exit leads to the Dwarven District of Stormwind.
