How to Dig for Golden Rods in World of Warcraft

"World of Warcraft" ("WoW") is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by Blizzard Entertainment. Golden Rod is a Level 30 item used by enchanters. While the Golden Rod cannot be dug for, meaning farmed or harvested naturally, it can be created by a blacksmith with a skill level of 150 or higher. Golden Rod is need to complete the quest "That's Asking A Lot" and can fetch a fair price at auction at the right time.

  Find one gold bar. Look in solid chests which typically contain golden bars. Ask an alchemist to make his own using an iron bar and the Philosopher's stone. Locate a forge and request a miner with at least 155 skill to smelt a gold bar using one gold ore.

  Locate a blacksmith and purchase two coarse grinding stones. The blacksmith must have a skill level of at least 75.

  Locate a second blacksmith with a skill level of at least 150 and request that he make a Golden Rod using the three items you collected. Wait for the Golden Rod to be completed.
