How to Be a Sergeant in World of Warcraft

"World of Warcraft" ("WoW") is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by Blizzard Entertainment. The sergeant title refers to a title displayed before the character's name indicative of their achievements. Before the 2.0 patch, titles could only be granted through the Honor System or killing a player on an opposing faction. After the 2.0 patch, players could not alter their title status. The system for accessing titles has changed in the "WoW" expansion, "Cataclysm." "Cataclysm" reopened the use of titles through use in the Battleground as opposed to traditional Player vs. Player battles.
