The peacock puzzle in "Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst" blocks access to the chest in the cottage's drawing room. This chest contains the telescope, which is needed to solve puzzles later in the game The lock of the chest has a picture of a peacock on it that has been cut into nine squares. The squares have been scrambled and need to be placed back in order to solve the puzzle. The pieces cannot be moved directly. There are four green stars on the picture. Clicking on a star causes the four peacock squares touching it to rotate around the star.

Click on the lock on the chest in the drawing room of the cottage to zoom in on it. You can clearly see the image of the peacock now.

Click the top, left star three times.

Click the bottom, right star three times. The pieces of the peacock should now be in order.

Click on the image to open the lock.

Pick up the telescope inside the chest to complete the puzzle.
