How to Get Under the Map in COD5

Published by Activision, "Call of Duty: World at War" is the fifth game in the best-selling first-person shooter "Call of Duty" series. Set during World War II, the game requires players to complete a series of challenging missions for the Allies against enemies from Germany, Japan and beyond. Gamers can use maps to help them navigate, but unpatched versions of the game feature a glitch that enables players to drop beneath the castle and run around underground.

Instructions

  Dash straight across the castle courtyard and head towards the right corner of two walls situated next to a tree and lots of horizontal logs.

  Position yourself adjacent to the larger wall and while leaning on it run along it until you reach a concrete staircase at which point you should turn around and run back along the side of the same wall while pressing against it.

  Repeat this process until you suddenly drop down below the standard playing arena. You can now run, shoot and crawl your way around a different gaming environment, although gameplay and controls remain unchanged.
