How to Install Maps for Command & Conquer: Generals

"Command and Conquer: Generals" sets players in a modern warfare game. Players become a powerful general in control of powerful armies. The game's official maps place characters in different areas of the world. However, players can also create customized maps or download maps to use in the game.

Instructions

  Download a maps pack from CNC Labs' Generals World from the "Downloads" page on the website (See Resources).

  Double click to extract all files into a folder. Leave this folder window open.

  Find the "Maps" data folder for "Command and Conquer: Generals" in your My Documents folder. The directory commonly appears as "C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data\Maps."

  Drag the map files from the desktop folder to the "Maps" folder for "CNC: Generals."

  Launch "CNC: Generals" and choose "Skirmish" or "Multiplayer" to select the new maps from the list.
