How to Use GMOD Cameras on a Laptop

"Garry's Mod" is a physics game designed for players who do not want to follow rules or goals, but instead play with various tools in the game. Players spawn characters from Valve games and position them in humorous poses. To capture these moments, players can make use of the camera function. After positioning the camera where you want it, take the picture and save it to your hard drive.

     Hold down the "Q" key on your keyboard. Wait for a menu to appear.

     Click "Camera" toward the bottom of the menu. This equips the camera in your hand.

     Release the "Q" key.

     Position your camera. The camera floats, meaning if you look at the ground and press "S" to go backward, your camera will float into the air.

     Click the left touchpad button on your laptop to take the picture.
