How to Insert Things Into GMod With WinRAR

In 2004, Garry Newman released the first version of "Garry's Mod," a physics game that does not require you to complete any sort of goals or predefined paths to enjoy its content. Instead, you are given numerous tools and objects to do whatever you want with them, such as recreating a favorite scene from a game or creating makeshift vehicles and other objects. It is also customizable, meaning that you can include custom objects downloaded from various websites. However, you must extract downloaded content stored in RAR files before you can use it.

     Open the folder where you downloaded the compressed "Garry's Mod" content.

     Right-click a compressed file.

     Select "Extract All" from the context menu. The contents of the archive will extract to the folder where the archive is located. Select the extracted files.

     Open a new window, then navigate to your "Garry's Mod" folder, whose path you defined on installation.

     Follow the instructions packaged with your download. Depending on the content, you may need to paste the extracted files in a variety of different folders. The most common folder is "Materials."
