How to Generate a Townie in Sims 2

Townies in "The Sims 2" are characters that visit from other neighborhoods around your own. Townie characters are randomly computer generated, so personality clashes tend to occur with your Sim or the setup of your Sim's world. You can, however, create your own townies and move into a neighborhood to avoid arguments.

Instructions

  Load "Sims 2" and go to the create a neighborhood feature.

  Create a new custom neighborhood, naming it and deciding the land features it has.

  Open the Create-A-Sim feature for that neighborhood and create a few custom characters to be townies.

  Move the newly created sims into an empty lot in the neighborhood and pause the game. Purchase an Ingelogical Teleporter Shrub and use it with the sims to choose the options "Make Me a Townie", repeating it for each of the sims you created.

  Save and close the game. When load the game again your newly created townies will randomly come from the new neighborhood.
