How to Get the Blade of Awe for DragonFable Without Cheating

The Blade of Awe first appeared as the single most powerful weapon in "AdventureQuest," before moving on to Artix's second game "DragonFable." In "DragonFable," the Blade is one of the most powerful weapons available and has a chance with every attack to cast one of six spells, including Powerword Die, which will instantly kill even boss characters. Unlike most weapons in the game, The Blade of Awe does not just drop after battles and cannot be bought with real money. You must find the pieces instead. There are two methods for this.

Instructions

BattleOn
- 1
  Level your character until they've reached level 30.

  Speak to Artix in BattleOn, and choose the "Battle Monsters" button in his dialogue tree.

  Win the fight that follows.

  Continue selecting the "Battle Monsters" button and winning the fights Artix sets up for you until you're set to fight a Rare Treasure Chest. The Rare Treasure Chest is a weak boss character that, when defeated, drops one of the pieces of the Blade of Awe. The pieces are the Runes, Hilt, Blade, Handle, and the Stonewrit. It will take hours to complete the set as the Rare Treasure Chest is a rare encounter. On the bright side, you will never get repeat pieces of the Blade.

  Go speak to Valencia once you've acquired all five pieces. She is in BattleOn, very near to Artix. Once you have all five pieces, she will forge the Blade of Awe for you.
Crossroads

  Level your character until they've reached level 30.

  Unlock the Crossroads. There are only two ways to get into the Corssroads. First, you can become a Guardian. Players who've made a one time donation of $19.95 to "AdventureQuest" get access to special content in both "AdventureQuest" and "DragonFable". The Guardian class is part of that special content. Guardians start out with some of the best equipment in both games and have numerous advantages, such as access to restricted areas like the Crossroads. Alternately, you can buy a daypass from Valencia in Battleon, however, these are quite costly in in-game money.

  Travel to the area on the map marked "Somewhere" via the Crossroads. Somewhere can only be traveled to using the Crossroads.

  Survive the ambush at Somewhere. You will be attacked several times, followed by a boss fight. The monsters and boss character are random.

  Return to Somewhere and continue being ambushed until you are attacked by a Rare Treasure Chest. As with the BattleOn method, it will take hours to complete the set as the Rare Treasure Chest is a rare encounter.
