How to Message on Battlefield 2 Multiplayer

Communication is an essential aspect in "Battlefield 2" multiplayer games. The in-game chat tools allow you to talk to all players, whether you want to tell your team where to attack, let your squadmates know about an enemy sniper or even talk to the opposing team to make new friends. You can send a message to every player on the server, limit it to just those on your team, or send it to the members of your squad by pressing a different key before you type your message.

     Start "Battlefield 2" and enter a multiplayer game.

     Press either the "J" key to send a message to everyone, the "K" key to send a message to your team or the "L" key to send a message to your squad.

     Type the message you want to send to the designated recipients. Press "Enter" to submit the message.
