How Do I Get to the Altar of the Ebon Depths?

Traveling to the "Altar of the Ebon Depths" was at one point a right of passage for tailors during the early days of the "Wrath of the Lich King" launch for "World of Warcraft." Visiting the "Altar of the Ebon Depths" was required to make "Ebonweave," a high level crafting component. Since then, that function has been removed from the "Altar of the Ebon Depths," so the trip is no longer required of tailors. The "Altar of the Ebon Depths" is still in-game and can be visited if you choose to do so.
