How to Install the Game Sexy Monopoly in DOSBox

"Sexy Monopoly" is an adult computer game based on the "Monopoly" board game. The game was released for computers running the Microsoft Disk Operating System software (MS-DOS) and as such is impossible to install on modern computers using conventional methods. A free software program called "DOSBox" is available that emulates MS-DOS and allows older games like this to work on modern hardware. The trick to install "Sexy Monopoly" is mounting two folders with DOSBox - one for the game install files and one where the game will be installed.

  Download and install the latest version of "DOSBox" on the computer.

  Make a folder on your hard drive called MonopolyInstall and copy the install files for "Sexy Monopoly" to it. Preferable create the folder in the root of the drive as you have to mount it later from a command prompt, and placing it in subdirectories can make it harder to do so. If the "Sexy Monopoly" installation disks are not working, you can get a backup copy online from sites like Emuparadise.

  Create a new folder on your hard drive called Monopoly. This is the folder where the game will be installed to. Once again create this folder in the root of your drive for easier mounting.

  Start DOSBox and in the command line type "mount a c:\MonopolyInstall" (without the quotes) and press enter. This mounts the folder with the install files for the game as the a drive. This is important as the game will only install from the a drive.

  Type "mount c c:Monopoly" (without the quotes) and press enter. This mounts the folder called Monopoly as the c drive which is where the game was programmed to install the files. If you do not mount this folder as a second drive, the game will abort with an error if you try to install it.

  Type "A:\" to navigate to the mounted "a" drive then type "getsexxy" and press "Enter." The installer for the game will appear.

  Press 4 on the keyboard to begin the installation process. Press any key when the game asks you to enter the next diskette. After the fifth diskette the game will be finished installing. Type "C:\" to navigate to the mounted c drive then type "getsexxy" and press enter to start the game.
