How to Fly A6M2 on FlightGear

FlightGear is a flight simulator for your computer that allows you to fly several different planes. The A6M2 Japanse WWII plane is not one that is installed by default in FlightGear. Fortunately, FlightGear gives you the option of adding this aircraft along with many others. New aircraft are being added all the time by the community, eventually giving you the ability to fly any aircraft ever built. Adding the A6M2 to FlightGear takes less than five minutes.

     Navigate to the FlightGear aircraft download page.

     Click any of the mirror links below the image of the A6M2 airplane to begin the download of the file.

   • 3

     Right-click and extract to "C:\Program Files\FlightGear\data\Aircraft" on the computer's hard drive.

   • 4

     Open FlightGear and select A6M2 from the aircraft menu.
