How to Play GMOD 10 Without the Internet

"Garry's Mod" is a physics game released exclusively through the online Steam digital content program. Like most games released through this program, owners of the game can play the single player mode without an active Internet connection via offline mode. Many players set Steam to offline mode when they expect they will suddenly lose their Internet connection or simply don't have one at the time. Once you reboot Steam into offline mode, you can play "Garry's Mod" offline.

     Open Steam and wait for the program to fully load.

     Click "Steam" and select "Go Offline." A dialog box appears asking you to confirm your decision.

     Click "Restart in Offline Mode." Wait as the program reboots.

     Click "Library" and locate "Garry's Mod" in the list of games. Right-click the option and select "Play Game."
