How to Get Married on The Sims Deluxe

"The Sims Deluxe" is a bundle of the original "Sims" game and all of its expansion packs stored on the same disc. Outside of this change, the core gameplay is precisely the same in all aspects. This includes when you want your Sims to fall in love and get married. Because Sims in the original game rarely get bored with repeat interactions, romancing them does not take as long as in later games.

Instructions

  Click any nearby phone in your home. A radial menu appears asking for further instruction.

  Click "Invite Sim Over" and wait for your Sim to dial a number. A box appears asking you to pick the Sim to invite over. Double-click your significant other and wait for her to arrive.

  Click your significant other, followed by "Romance" on the radial menu. Click any of the options under this submenu to boost her mood and romance level. Continue this until the "Propose" option appears.

  Click "Propose." If she accepts, marriage begins immediately.
