You have just destroyed your opponent's monster in Yu-Gi-Oh! and reduced his life points, but no one else was there to see your triumphant display of skill during the duel. To share your skills with other Yu-Gi-Oh! fans, record your game. There are many software programs that will record games played on the computer. Unlike regular screen capturing software which renders blank footage when trying to capture computer games that utilize DirectX 3D and other gaming formats, these software programs are designed to record computer and video games.

  Record Yu-Gi-Oh! duels using WeGame. This website provides a free software program that will record games played on the computer. Along with the game, WeGame will also capture audio from a connected microphone or headset. The software is simple to use, just open the software and select the "Record" button. After the game is complete, upload your recorded Yu-Gi-Oh! duel to the WeGame website to share your skills with the world.

  Launch the Game Cam software and record your Yu-Gi-Oh! duels. This software is also available for free and is capable of capturing either screen shots of the game, or video formatted in AVI. This software will also capture any audio from a connected microphone or headset.

  Capture your Yu-Gi-Oh! duels with Taksi. This open source software will capture your entire game activity. Taksi will format recorded videos in XVid, DivX, MP4 and in a variety of other formats. Taksi allows you to select how many frames per second the software will capture. For example, to reduce the file size of the video, capture fewer frames per second. Taksi will not capture audio, but is free to use.
