How to Kill Your Own Minions in Torchlight

TorchLight is the spiritual successor to Diablo 2, and as such is a fast-paced hack and slash fantasy game. One of the three character classes, the Alchemist, has an ability tree called "Summons" that allows him to summon minions to help battle his enemies. While these summoned minions will follow the Alchemist until they've been killed by the enemy, it is possible for the Alchemist to kill them himself with a process called dismissing.

     Locate the hot key you assigned to the minion you wish to dismiss.

     Confirm visually your minion is still alive. If they die before you press the key, you will just summon a new one.

   • 3

     Press the hot key on your keyboard to dismiss the minion.
