How to Install Embodiment of Scarlet Devil

"The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil" is a vertical-scrolling shooter video game for Windows Operating Systems. It is the sixth game from the one-man Touhou Project and the first from the game developer Team Shanghai Alice. It is also the first game in the series to be compatible with Windows. The game can be downloaded from the game's website and can be installed by running the "Install Wizard" and double-clicking on the executable file.

  Navigate to the download section of the game website.

  Click on the download link to begin the download. Choose "Save." It will be saved in your downloads folder.

  Locate the file and right-click on it. Select "Extract All." This will extract the executable program file into a new folder called "embodiment of scarlet devil" in the same folder.

  Open the folder and double-click on the .exe file. This will prompt the Install Wizard.

  Follow the onscreen instructions keeping the default settings. You will be informed when the installation is complete. Click "Finish."
