How to Install Elite Force 2 on New Computers

"Elite Force 2" is the sequel to "Star Trek Voyager Elite Force," a Star Trek-themed, first-person shooter released in 2000. The sequel, released in 2003, brings Star Trek fans another adventure aboard the famous Enterprise spaceship. Before jumping into the action, however, you must install the game, which is a quick and straightforward process. Your computer also must meet the minimum system requirements of the game to be able to run it properly.

  • PC with the following configuration:
  • Intel Pentium III or Athlon processor running at 600 megahertz or higher;
  • 128 megabytes of RAM or more;
  • DirectX 9 compatible video card with 32 megabytes of memory or more;
  • Microsoft Windows 98 or newer operating system.

Instructions

      Insert the game disk into the optical drive and wait for the setup program to start. If it does not start automatically, open "My Computer" and double click on the optical drive icon to launch the setup program.

      Choose the installation type: Normal or Custom. Choosing the normal installation will install the game in a predefined location; choosing a custom installation will allow you to select the location yourself.

      Read the License Agreement when prompted to do so and click "Next" to proceed with the setup.

      Enter the serial code when asked. You can find it on the inside of the game's disk case.

      Wait for the installation to complete and click "Finish."
