Useful Skills for Healer Priests in Runes of Magic

Healer priests are a sub-specialty of the priest class in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), "Runes of Magic." As a healer priest, your main job is to keep your group's tank alive and to provide other group members with buffs and remove their negative debuffs with your Cleanse ability. You also resurrect dead players using your Resurrection and Soul Bond spells and cast light debuffs, such as Ice Fog, on your enemies.
  1. Healing Spells

    • You obtain your basic Heal spell at Level 6, which restores 90 health and can be used on yourself or friendly targets. You get the Group Heal spell at Level 14, which restores 65 health to all group members within its area of effect (AoE).

    Healing Boosters

    • Healing boosters are buffs that increase the effectiveness of your healing spells. Healing Salve, obtained at Level 28, increases the healing on your target by 5 percent and lasts one minute. You get Holy Candle is a sacrificial spell that you obtain at Level 34. It increases your healing by 6 percent but also consumes 6 percent of your own health every six seconds.

    Beneficial Buffs

    • Your first buff is Wave Armor at Level 3, which creates a shield to absorb up to 50 damage done to you. The next buff is Bone Chill at Level 8, which acts as an offensive buff and does damage to monsters that attack you. You get Grace of Life at Level 14, which increases your maximum health by 50 points for 30 minutes. Amplified Attack, obtained at Level 20, helps damage dealers in your group by increasing physical attack by 50 for 30 minutes.

    Harmful Debuffs

    • Debuffs are the opposite of buffs. You cast them on your opponent to weaken them. The first debuff you obtain is Ice Fog at Level 8, which causes a slow effect. It increases in rank at Levels 26 and 32. You get Chain of Light at Level 18, which does light damage over time to your target.
