Cheats for Counterstrike 1.6

Entering Codes

• Before you can input any cheat codes that will affect "Counter-Strike 1.6" you must first open the cheat menu. To do so press the "~" button on your keyboard. Then change your current map by typing in the term "changelevel dust." Once you have done so, you will be able to input any of the available codes that will immediately take effect in the game.

Weapons Codes

• "Counter-Strike 1.6" has a long list of available weapons that you can use on your opponents. You can use cheat codes to instantly spawn these weapons into your inventory, giving you an advantage over your opponents. For example, to spawn an AK-47, open the cheat menu and type in the code "giveweapon_ak47." To unlock the M3 super shotgun open the cheat menu and type in the code "giveweapon_m3." Equip your character with smoke grenades by using the code "giveweapon_smokegrenade." Night vision goggles will give you an advantage during stages that are set in the night. To unlock this item for your character open the cheat menu and input the code "giveweapon_nightvision."

Movement Cheat Codes

• "Counter-Strike 1.6" allows you to input cheat codes that will affect how the players move throughout the game. For example, open the cheat menu and enter the code "sv_gravity" to change the gravity on the current level. To allow your character to move faster, which will help you chase down enemies or quickly escape them, input the code "cl_forwardspeed999." You can also amplify your side and backward speed ratings by replacing the word "forward" with either "side" or "backward."

Additional Cheat Codes

• Players can use additional codes to affect the gameplay of "Counter-Strike 1.6." For example, opening the cheat menu and entering the code "-reload" will disable any weapon's auto-reload feature. To turn auto-reload back on enter the code "+reload." To reveal how much time is left to win the current game enter the code "timeleft." You can change the appearance of your character using the skin cheat codes. Enter the word "seal" to dress your character in Navy SEALS apparel. The code "hostage" will have your character appear as a hostage during the game. To dress your character in the arctic soldier clothing enter the code "arctic."
