How to Make My Herb Dots Glow

Players who choose to train in the gathering profession of "Herbalism" provide a very important service to the denizens of Azeroth. The herbs that are gathered serve as the primary crafting ingredient for several crafting professions. To assist players in the gathering process, herbalists are given the "Track Herb" spell. Activating "Track Herb" causes any nearby herbs to appear in your mini-map as a glowing dot. This can help you to quickly move from herb to herb.

     Visit a herbalism trainer in any major city and train in the "Herbalism" skill. This will grant you the "Track Herbs" spell.

     Click the magnifying glass icon that is attached to the mini-map.

     Click "Track Herbs" in the drop down menu. This will cause all herbs in close proximity to glow on the mini-map.
