You do not have to worry about matching a top and bottom when your Neopet is in a dress. The dresses are eye catching, colorful and can match your interests and tastes. For the gardeners, try putting your Neopet in a dress shaped like a flower, such as the Lily Pad Flower Dress. When you're feeling darker, try the goth dress. Also channel your inner Grimm Brother by placing her in a princess dress.
Shirts
Different stores in the Neopet world carry different shirts. Your Neopet can root for his favorite team by wearing a jersey shirt, such as the Mystery Island Altador Cup Jersey. When the Asian culture is what you are interested in, dress your pet in an Asian warrior princess shirt or an apprentice shirt for the male pets. The choices are varied and will fit with what your tastes are and what you wish your pet to be.
Skirts
Not a lot of skirts are available for Neopets and they typically match certain tops. Sometimes, the design is so obvious, it is difficult to match the skirt with any other top, such as the Shenkuu Warrior Princess Skirt. Pants

Jackets
Bring some of your world into the Neopet world by dressing your pet up in familiar clothes from movies, such as the Mad Hatter's jacket from Alice in Wonderland. The stereotypical detective's coat is also available. When you have an interest in military history, dress your pet in a regimental jacket. When your pet is feeling dark, try the goth jacket.
Armor
Neopets can be warriors and can defend their realm. You need to adequately equip your pet to do the task. Chain mail will provide the protection, as well as some color.
