How to Find the Trap Controls in Dungeons & Dragons

In "Dungeons and Dragons Online," players take on the roll of warriors, wizards and rogues in epic adventures against dangerous monsters and deadly traps. An unspotted trap can mean death for a party of adventurers, so players must always be wary and make liberal use of the "Search" skill. The "Search" skill enables a player to uncover a hidden object, such as a door, trap or trap control panel. Locating the trap control panel will allow a rogue in the party to disable the connected trap, allowing your party to continue on unharmed.

     Move your character into the location that you believe contains a trap.

     Press the "Search" skill button on your taskbar. Your character will enter a search animation that will last for several seconds. Do not disrupt the search animation.

   • 3

     Inform your groups rogue or ranger that you have found the trap panel. If you are a rogue or ranger, click the control panel to disable the trap.
