How to Get Reflective Water in RollerCoaster Tycoon 3

"RollerCoaster Tycoon 3" is the third offering from Atari's Roller Coaster building series on Mac OS and Windows. The object of the game is to build, operate and maintain a successful amusement park using the many different rides and tools available to the player. "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3" features a completely reworked three dimensional engine, making the graphics more vivid and lifelike than the previous two games. One feature of this improved graphics engine is water that shows realistic reflections.

  Update your graphics drivers, as it will help increase performance.

  Open "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3" by double-clicking on its icon on your desktop.

  Click on the "Options" button in the main menu.

  Click on "Graphics Settings," then click on the drop down box under "Advanced Settings."

  Choose "High Quality" from the drop down box.

  Click the "X" in the right-hand corner of the "Graphics Settings" box.

  Begin a new or saved game.

  Add water by click on the "Terrain Tools" option and then "Terrain Options."

  Choose the "Lower Terrain" tool.

  Make a valley for a lake or pond using the "Lower Terrain" tool.

  Select "Fill With Water" option in the terrain tools.

  Click on the area you made using the "Lower Terrain" tool and it will automatically fill it with reflective water.
