How Do I Play Axis & Allies in a Window Mode?

In 1999, a computer version of Axis and Allies was released. Many updates were released throughout the years giving the game more features. One of the features added is the ability to play the game in windowed mode. Keep in mind that games played in windowed mode will use more resources so if you are using an older computer, expect some delay.

      Navigate to the WarZone website.

      Download the file "AAStarterPack51.exe" to your computer's hard drive.

      Double-click the file to install the program -- no user interaction is required.

      Run Axis and Allies as you would normally. Once the game starts up, press "Alt Enter" to change the screen to windowed mode. Expand the window to make the game full screen again.
