Gathering Scrolls and Keys
In each of the rooms of the "Blue's Clues Treasure Hunt" game, your task is to gather three scrolls and you are given a key to open a treasure box. Gather scrolls at the school, in the park, recycling town and at Steve's house. It is necessary to read the clues in order to find the scrolls, but the game does give picture clues also, in case the child is not able to read yet. By following the clue closely you will find each scroll. The first clue in each room comes when you enter the room. You earn subsequent clues by playing the games that Steve or Blue suggest.
Talking to Characters
To get Steve or Blue to give hints throughout the game, simply click on each of them. They will read the original clue first. Then, if you click on them a second time, Steve and Blue will give you a secret clue to help you find the scrolls.
Fastest Way to the Land of Great Discovery
To get into the Land of Great Discovery you have to find all the scrolls -- there is no way around this. But you can speed up the scroll-finding process by staying in one room until you find all three scrolls. This will eliminate extra talking from Steve and Blue when you come into new rooms or leave rooms.
Creating Your Own Games
Once you have found all the scrolls and unlocked the treasure chests, you can move on to the Land of Great Discovery. In this land you can color your own pictures, animate pictures, create stickers and design your own simple computer games. To design your own game, click on the bottom arrow on the Land of Great Discovery page, all the way to the right hand side of the screen. You will see the game icon hidden on the bottom right of the screen.
