How to Throw C4 in Call of Duty 4 on a PC

"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" was released in the fall of 2007, shifting from the World War II focus of "Call of Duty 3" to a modern day military conflict. The game also updated the arsenal of weapons to reflect real-world military equipment. Among those weapons is the inclusion of C4 explosives. C4 is available in certain story missions as well as multiplayer mode and can be used to clear rooms, set traps and complete objectives when used properly.

     Press the "6" key on your keyboard to equip C4. You will see your character equip a detonator.

     Aim where you would like to throw your C4 and click the right mouse button to throw the C4 pack at your target.

     Click the left mouse button to detonate the placed C4 charge. Press the "Use" key (mapped to the "F" key by default) twice if you have equipped another weapon to detonate any C4 you have placed.
