How to Make Pyramids on Sims 2 Bon Voyage

"The Sims 2: Bon Voyage" allows your Sims to go on vacation to exotic locations. It also brings new objects into the game to add to your Sim's home, or to use for construction projects. Among the new building objects is a set of pieces that form a Peruvian-style pyramid. The graduated pieces snap together for instant tiered walls. You can add staircases to reach the top and an arch for access to the interior. The walls come in convex and concave shapes, so you can create a rising pyramid or a sunken bowl-shaped pyramid.

Instructions

    • 1

Start "The Sims 2: Bon Voyage" and click on the lot where you want to build a pyramid.

    • 2

Click the "Buy Mode" button on the control panel.

    • 3

Click the "Collections" icon, then the "Bon Voyage" category to view the new objects available to use.

    • 4

Click on the "Backyard Pyramid -- Corner Out" piece to select it. Click on the lot four times to place four corners for your pyramid. Use the grid on the ground to place the corners so that they form a square or rectangular shape. Use the "<" and ">" keys as you place a piece to rotate it as necessary.

    • 5

Click the "Backyard Pyramid -- Little One" piece or the "Backyard Pyramid -- Big One" piece to fill the spaces between the corners with walls. The "Little One" piece is half the width of the "Big One" piece.

    • 6

Scroll to the right in the "Buy Mode" category window to find the stone floor tiles. Click one you like.

    • 7

Click the "Top Down View" button to switch from three-dimensional view to a two-dimension bird's-eye view of the pyramid.

    • 8

Click and drag from one corner of the pyramid wall to the opposite corner to place floor tiles across the entire area of the pyramid's ground floor.

    • 9

Click one of the column types next to the floor tiles. Click inside the pyramid to add one or more columns in the center. Columns give you the ability to add floor tiles to the top of the pyramid for a flat roof. With a column in place, a grid appears on the roof of the pyramid showing where you can apply floor tiles.

    • 10

Click the "Top Down View" button again to toggle back to three-dimensional view.

    • 11

Click the "Go Up a Floor" button to view the top of the pyramid. Click the same floor tile you used for the ground floor and apply it to the top of the pyramid to cover the opening left by the walls and corners. The pyramid is now complete
