Instructions
Landscape your yard carefully. Only the best gardens will be deemed worthy of the wishing well. Thriving plants and orchard trees, full compost bins, healthy flowers and expensive shrubs, sculptures, fountains, trees and potted plants will all add to your garden's appeal. Trash and tacky flamingo lawn ornaments will take away from it.
Water, tend and spray any garden plants or orchard trees with problems. Your garden should be in tip top shape before you begin the process of trying to get a wishing well.
Call the Garden Club on the telephone and invite a representative over to inspect your yard. The Garden Club can be found under the "Services" option on the telephone.
Greet the Garden Club representative when he or she shows up. The representative will vary from one game to the next, but this special visitor will arrive on your lot shortly after your phone call.
Click on the representative and select the "Request Garden Club Membership" option. Your Sim will then invite the representative to review his lawn.
Pick up any new messes and tend to plants that need it while your lawn is being reviewed. If you get to the problem spot before the representative sees it, it won't effect your score. Your final score reflects point totals between -1000 and 700 for gardening, -1000 and 500 for landscaping and -1000 and 0 for messes. If you score over 100 you will be rewarded with membership in the Garden Club. However, you must score over 700 to earn the coveted wishing well.
Look for the wishing well on your lot or in your Sim's inventory if the gardening representative indicates that you had a very high score. If your score was not high enough, improve your garden and lawn and try again. There is no limit to the number of times you can have your lot reviewed.
