How to Catch Swamp Lizards in RuneScape

As one of the first popular MMORPG's (massively-multiplayer online role-playing games), "RuneScape" from Jagex, Ltd. is a game in which players can use their skills to earn money and fight monsters. One skill with a particularly high earning potential is "Hunter." This skill allows players with members' privileges to catch creatures all over "RuneScape." The Swamp Lizard is a particularly valuable catch because it serves as a powerful weapon. Catching a Swamp Lizard is similar to catching any other creature with "Hunter."

"Members" account with Level 29 "Hunter"

Instructions

  Login to the "RuneScape" game client. Open your map by clicking the "mini-map" on your screen and locate Canifis, which is in Morytania, east of RuneScape. This area is only accessible after the "Priest in Peril" quest is completed.

  Travel to the "Hunter" icons southeast of Canifis. This will take you to the area for catching Swamp Lizards. Make sure you have your small fishing net and rope with you.

  Right-click on a "Young Tree," a character-height, leafless tree near the water. Select "Set-trap Young Tree" which is the first option on the drop-down menu. Your character will run to the tree and set a trap. You will see the net lying on the ground with the rope extended down to it from a branch on the tree.

  Wait a few seconds for a Swamp Lizard to spring the trap. The trap will animate, the corners of the net will be drawn up and the Swamp Lizard will be trapped in the net.

  Right-click on your trap and select "Check Net Trap." In your chat window, you will see the following messages if you are successful: "You dismantle the trap. You've caught a Swamp Lizard." The lizard will appear in your inventory.
