How to Get Rid of Dirty Clothes on The Sims 3

The expansion pack, "The Sims 3: Ambitions," brings several new items for Sims to buy and place in their homes, including a washer and dryer. Whenever your Sim changes his outfit or takes a shower in "The Sims 3: Ambitions," he will leave behind a pile of dirty clothes on the floor. Dirty laundry smells bad as it starts to accumulate, so clean it up before your Sims are put into a bad mood from their filthy surroundings.

Instructions

  Enter Build and Buy mode to purchase a laundry basket. All laundry equipment is found under the "Plumbing" tab in Build and Buy mode.

  Place the laundry basket some place in the Sim's house where it is unobstructed and easily accessed.

  Return to Live Mode and click on the pile of dirty clothing to ask your Sim to put it in the laundry basket.

  Wash your clothing when the laundry basket is full. Either take the laundry basket to a laundromat in town or purchase a washer and dryer and click "To basket" to choose to wash the clothing at home.
