How to Get Shadow's Edge in World of Warcraft

Shadow's Edge is an epic two-handed axe in "World of Warcraft" and a prerequisite for the legendary item Shadowmourne. Shadow's Edge is given as a reward for completing one of the quests in the Shadowmourne quest chain. Only death knights, warriors and paladins can accept the quest and obtain Shadow's Edge. You must defeat several bosses in the 25-player Icecrown Citadel dungeon to acquire the reagents required for the axe.

Instructions

  Venture inside Icecrown Citadel and accept the "Sacred and Corrupt" quest from Highlord Darion Morgraine.

  Acquire Light's Vengeance. The weapon used to belong to Arthas and now sits in Frostmourne Cave in northwestern Dragonblight. A series of events will unfold once you enter the cave. The Lich King will appear and multiple undead enemies will spawn. It's impossible to defeat each enemy; you must loot Light's Vengeance by right-clicking on it before an enemy attacks you. It may take several attempts.

  Purchase or loot 25 primordial saraonite. Primordial saronite occasionally drops from bosses within Icecrown Citadel, but it's far easier to obtain by purchasing each one for 266 justice points from Legacy Justice Quartermasters in Dalaran. You receive justice points each time you kill a dungeon boss or complete a dungeon using the Dungeon Finder tool.

  Loot both Festergut's Acidic Blood from the boss Festergut and Rotface's Acidic Blood from the boss Rotface in the 25-person difficulty mode of Icecrown Citadel.

  Return to Highlord Darion Morgraine after acquiring all items. Turn in the quest to receive Shadow's Edge.
