How to Use a Mule in Multiplayer StarCraft

"StarCraft II" is a real-time strategy game that allows control of three playable factions: Terran, Zerg and Protoss. All three sects have traits and units that are exclusive to them. One of the Terran's units is the mule. The mule is a resource-gathering unit that extracts far more resources from mineral fields and Vespene geysers than a unit such as the space construction vehicle. The ability to gather more resources can make the mule particularly useful in the game's fast-paced multiplayer matches.

Instructions

  Build an orbital command attachment onto your command center in a multiplayer match of "StarCraft II" by clicking on "Command Center" then selecting "Orbital Command" in the unit's pane at the bottom of the screen.

  Click on the orbital command once it has finished being built.

  Click "Mule Pod" in the unit's pane at the bottom of the screen.

  Click an area near your command center to send a drop pod down. When the pod lands, a mule will emerge from it.

  Click on the mule to select it.

  Right-click on a resource to have the mule start gathering resources from it. It will continue to do so until the resource is exhausted.
