How to Become a Citizen in the Republic of Dave in Fallout 3

The game Fallout 3 plays on Windows computers and Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 systems. In the game, you play a survivor of a post-apocalyptic United States. The Republic of Dave is a city located in the northeast section of the Capital Wasteland. The Republic is a place where citizens are safe from dictatorship-like rule. Although the area is small, the economy is thriving under Dave's rule. While you cannot gain citizenship in the Republic of Dave, you can ask Dave for asylum.

     Head to the main building in the Republic of Dave, and talk to President Dave. Always refer to him by his proper title, or he will become hostile and won't grant you asylum.

     Ask President Dave for asylum. You can also ask for Special Asylum, with which you become a refugee of the Republic of Dave.

     Pay the 250-cap immigration fee. You can also offer President Dave a hunting rifle as a gift and as payment for asylum.
