If Your Sim Steals Something, How Do You Put It Back?

"The Sims 3" features a wide array of personality traits for your Sim characters, allowing them to have a range of quirks to make them unique. The kleptomaniac trait gives your Sim the urge to steal objects from the homes of other Sims and from the community lots around town. Stealing items is an easy way to get new things for your home, but every now and then, your Sim will start to feel guilty and wish to return the items.

     Click on the stolen item and select "Put in Inventory."

     Open the town menu, click on the home where you stole the item and select "Visit Household."

   • 3

     Click the mailbox and select "Return Stolen Items."

   • 4

     Click your Sim's mailbox and select "Return Stolen Items" to return items that were taken from a community lot.
