How to Walk Like a Guard in World of Warcraft

If you pay close attention to the each guard in "World of Warcraft," you notice the character is not in any hurry. In fact, they seem to walk as slow as possible. If in the mood to imitate the guards, or you need to keep pace with one of them for a quest, you must toggle off "Run" and toggle on "Walk." The toggle command is tied to a key on your keyboard.

      Launch the game and navigate to the character select screen. Choose your character and press "Enter" on your keyboard.

      Press the "/" button on your number pad.

    • 3

      Press and hold "W" on your keyboard to begin walking like a guard. If you wish to walk without pressing "W," press "Num lock" and your character will automatically walk ahead. You must still control him with the mouse or by pressing "A" or "D." Press the "/" key again to run.
