How to Play Magic the Gathering on a Computer

"Magic the Gathering" is a strategy card game created by Wizards of the West Coast. A computer game simulation was released in the year 1997. This game has been abandoned by its creators, but it's still available for download and play via the Shandalar website. The game is currently available for Windows XP users.

Instructions

      Go to the Shandalar website, navigate to the download page and fill out the download request form. Once you fill out the form, you will be directed to a download page.

      Click the "Magic.zip" file and save it to your computer.

      Click "Start" then "My Computer" and double-click your primary hard drive.

      Right click and select the "new folder" option. Name the folder "Magic" or any other name at your discretion.

      Extract the "Magic.zip" file you have just downloaded into the folder you just created.

      Double-click "Setup.bat" to begin installation of the game on your computer.

      Double-click "Magic.reg" to create the necessary registry entries on your computer.

      Double-click "Magic.exe" to begin playing "Magic the Gathering" on your computer.
