How to Fly a Hydra Fast in GTA: San Andreas

PS2 / Xbox 360

  Approach the hydra and then press the "Y" key to enter it.

  Hold down the "A" key to begin hovering. Use the left analog stick to point the hydra up.

• 3

  Press the "R3" key once you've ascended high enough to avoid obstacles. This will bring up the landing wheels.

  Gently push the right analog stick forward to begin accelerating at a fast speed.

• 5

  Press "R3" to lower the landing gear and return to hover mode when you want to land.

Windows PC

  Approach the hydra and then press the "enter" key to enter it.

  Hold down the 2 key to begin hovering. Use either your number pad or arrow keys to point the hydra up.

• 8

  Press the 8 key once you've ascended high enough to avoid obstacles. This will bring up the landing wheels, and set the hydra to flying mode.

• 9

  Use the forward arrow key or the 8 key to accelerate forward.

• 10

  Press 2 to lower the landing gear and return to hover mode when you want to land.
