How Do You Clear the Mod Cache in Torchlight?

Torchlight is a Diablo-style action RPG, made by Runic Games, released for Windows PC's, Mac OS X and Xbox Live Arcade. This company was formed by some members of Blizzard North, who developed Diablo 2. In Torchlight, players control a hero and obtain an AI-controlled pet that you can utilized and upgraded in various ways. One of the built-in features to Torchlight is an easy-to-apply user modification tool that allows mods to be loaded and unloaded without the hassle of messing with individual files.

     Download and unpack the Clear Cache batch file. When asked which directory you want to unpack the files in, navigate to "%appdata%\runic games\torchlight\mods\." Double-click on the batch file named "Clear Cache" to clear the cache. This automates the manual process.

     Go to "Start -> Run," then type "%appdata%\runic games\torchlight\mods\." Make sure file extensions are showing, then sort by file extension.

     Delete all .adm and *.cmp files in this folder to clear the cache.
