Vampirism was introduced into the "Sims 2" world with the "The Sims 2: Nightlife" expansion pack. When a Sim is turned into a vampire, he can turn into a bat, bite other Sims and can scare other Sims. However, the Sim can die if exposed to sunlight for an extended period of time, making it difficult to go to work or interact with other Sims. Curing a vampire works the same no matter how many extra expansions you have. If you own "The Sims 2: Seasons" in addition to "Nightlife," the method to cure a vampire is the same.

Select the vampire Sim you want to cure.

Click on any phone in your house.

Click "Services," followed by "Matchmaker."

Greet the matchmaker when she arrives.

Click on the matchmaker.

Click "Buy Potion," followed by "Vamprocillin-D." The Vamprocillin-D costs 60 Simoleons for each potion.

Click on your Sim, followed by "Use Vamprocillin-D." The Sim will drink the potion and be instantly cured of being a vampire.
