How to Get Clothing on The Sims 2 for PC

When you make a Sim in "The Sims 2," you choose the clothing the Sim wears. You'll get everyday wear, formal wear, workout clothing, a swimsuit and pajamas. Even with this variety of clothes you may get bored wearing the same thing every day. Get more clothes for your characters so they can wear a variety of outfits throughout the week.

Instructions

  Buy a wardrobe and place it somewhere in your Sim's house. Leave room in front of the wardrobe for your Sim to stand and move.

  Make your Sim visit a public lot that has a clothing store. Go into the store, try on clothes and buy the ones you like.

  Go back home and stand in front of the wardrobe. Click on the wardrobe to reveal the action choices. Click on the bubble for "Plan Outfit" and the wardrobe will show you the variety of clothing you own. Choose the outfit you want to use and your Sim will turn around, sporting the new look.
