How to Get Nerkmids on Neopets

"Nerkmids" are a digital currency in the online gaming community "Neopets." Nerkmids can be exchanged for prizes at the "Alien Vending Machine" in the Neopian Bazar. Players must insert the Nerkmid into the vending machine and press a series of unlabeled buttons and levers correctly to receive a high value item like a paint brush. They will be given junk, however, if the process is done incorrectly. The best way to get nerkmids is through trading.

Instructions

Auction House

  Go the the Auction House. Click the "Shops" tab, then click "Auctions" on the main screen.

  Scroll through the offerings. You will have to search manually, as there is no search feature.

  Place a bid on the Nerkmid. Click on the Nerkmid's picture. This will take you to the bid screen where you can enter your bid in the box then confirm it by pressing the "Place a bid" button. The money will be automatically deducted from your account and the Nerkmid will be placed in your inventory if you have the highest bid when the time on the auction runs out.
Trading Post

  Go the the Trading Post. Click the "Shops" tab, then click "Trading Post" on the main screen.

  Click the "Browse Lots" tab.

  Type Nerkmid in the search box and click the "Find those trades!" button.

  Make an offer. A list of every Nerkmid on sale in the Trading Post will appear. There will be a wishlist stating what the seller is hoping to sell their nerkmid for under each picture of the Nerkmid. Prices vary between 100,000 neopoints to 500,000 Neopoints depending on the kind of Nermid. You may also make offers on other rare items, such as code stones.
