How to Find a Project Purity Code

At the very end of "Fallout 3," you need to activate the Project Purity treatment plant to keep it from exploding. To activate it, you must type a code into the control panel's keypad -- a code your father died to keep secret. Nothing in the game directly tells you what the code is. But when your father was alive, he repeatedly quoted a biblical passage that mentioned the "water of life." The chapter and verse numbers of this passage, Revelation 21:6, provide the device's code.

     Center the purifier's control pad in your screen so that you highlight the "2" button. Press your keyboard's "E" key to activate it.

     Highlight and activate the control pad's "1" button.

     Highlight and activate the control pad's "6" button.
